《超级马里奥卡丁车》正获 PC 高清复刻 支持 Ray Tracing、视差贴图与真实缩放精灵

YouTube’s ‘Ahmed Hakeem’ is working on a PC remaster of the SNES classic Super Mario Kart. This PC fan remaster will add parallax maps, sprites that scale in size, and lava effects. It will even feature ray-traced lighting. And now, you can get your first look at this fan project in all its retro glory.

Super Mario Kart never looked this good. And, in a way, I prefer it over the Nintendo 64 Mario Kart game. This is my nostalgia speaking. But there is something really cool about watching this 2D sprite game with modern lighting effects. Perhaps this is the reason I enjoyed the Path Tracing Mods for Doom 1, Doom 2, Duke Nukem 3D, and Doom 64.

I’ll now hijack this article and repeat myself. I want to see a PC port of the Jurassic Park game that came out on SNES. That Jurassic Park game had some awesome first-person sequences, and it had an amazing atmosphere. It also had an incredible soundtrack. So, imagine a PC remaster of it with all the above visual improvements. Now that would be an incredible experience.

But anyway, there is currently no ETA for when the PC remaster of Super Mario Kart will come out. Naturally, though, I’ll be sure to keep you posted.

In case you are into projects like these, you can also download the unofficial PC ports of Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Strikers.

But what about non-Super Mario games? Well, right now, you can download the unofficial PC ports of Crash Team Racing, Forza Horizon 2, and Duke Nukem: Zero Hour. You can also play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Majora’s Mask, Perfect Dark, Call of Duty 3, and Jak & Daxter.

These past couple of months, I also shared the unofficial PC versions of The Simpsons Game, Peter Jackson’s King Kong, Gears of War 3, and Bloodborne. Let’s also not forget the PC ports of Virtua Fighter Arcade, Splinter Cell: Double Agent,  Tekken 6, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Bayonetta 2, and Metroid Prime.

For our SNES fans, we also have a PC port of Star Fox. We also got a PC port of F-Zero. Brian Tate has also brought the three classic SNES Donkey Kong Country games to PC. Plus, we got a PC port of Mother 2/EarthBound.

For our PS4 fans, we have unofficial PC ports of Bloodborne, Shadow of the Colossus, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, MediEvil, and Driveclub. You can also download the unofficial PC versions of God of War 3 Remastered, Gran Turismo Sport, The Order: 1886, Killzone Shadowfall, and The Last Guardian.

In September 2026, we shared a lot of unofficial PC ports. So, you can download and enjoy on PC Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link,  WET, The Darkness, Spider-Man: Edge of Time, Mercenaries, GTA: Liberty City Stories, Fable 2, Burnout Revenge, and Lost Odyssey.

And that’s not all of them. We also have the unofficial PC ports of Mario Party 4, Sonic Unleashed, GoldenEye 007, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Silent Hill. In July 2026, we shared the unofficial PC ports of Gears of War 2 and Syphon Filter. Then, in August 2026, we shared the PC ports of Diddy Kong Racing and Ace Combat 6.
