Forbidden & Limited list updates are coming, to prep for Magnificent Maestros! With 34 newly Forbidden cards and 8 Limited cards, we're revealing the list in 5 parts at YCS Houston – 1 on Friday, 2 each on Saturday and Sunday!
Some context:
Konami has been WIDELY criticized by it's playerbase recently because the latest Banlist update while decent enough to balance the current decks, the changes did not take into account the upcoming "Elfnote" and "Ars Manga" cards nor the Maximillion Pegasus inspired "Toon" support that managed to wreak havoc in Japan and we're considered some of the most miserable Tier 0 decks in a while. Mostly because of their ability to look at the opponent's hand and rip cards from it in the very first turn.
While these cards have not released and are coming in "Magnificent Maestros" in November, many players have preemptively announced they would not take part on the game in those conditions.
This led to diminished participation in events lately
Guess this is the response to the fan outcry.
