After four years, Old School RuneScape players have probably been waiting pretty impatiently for a new raid to drop. That raid, titled ‘The Fractured Archive’ has arrived, and it’s been designed to be the most challenging raid the free-to-play MMORPG has. It’s set in an ancient vault filled not only with powerful artifacts, but also the god Guthix who has been sealed away there.
The raid is open to small teams or solo players, who will explore the archive and prevent any of the secrets from being stolen. Of course, at the end, there will be an epic boss battle. And (probably more importantly), there will be loot. In this case, the loot was decided upon based on the opinions of the OSRS community and include things like the dual wielding, rapid-fire and heavy-ranged Ascension crossbows. Other rewards include Zory’as Tome, the Rondache shield, and a best-in-slot Crush megarare.
