KingsIsle Entertainment released the new demo for Ravenwood Academy: A Wizard101 Story, an upcoming single-player life sim set before the events of the Wizard101 MMO. Right now, you can dive right into the game during the Steam Next Fest (until October 26), and try it out for yourself.

The Ravenwood Academy: A Wizard101 Story demo offers two investigations and approximately 30–45 minutes of gameplay. As a transfer student from Dragonspyre, players search for clues, interview witnesses, and piece together evidence to uncover what’s happening around campus.

If you have played the original Wizard101 MMO, you will meet some familiar iconic characters such as professors Dalia Falmea and Halston Balestrom.

Ravenwood Academy: A Wizard101 Story Features Include: 

• Investigate Strange Incidents. Search for clues and talk to bystanders when chaos disrupts academic life. Your trusted notebook is where you’ll find the answers to identify witnesses and fill in the gaps in your knowledge.
• Find New Friends. Get to know your classmates by spending free time with them! Choose between five different classmates, each with their own extensive stories.
• Solve the Mystery. Utilize what you’ve learned from your investigations, brainstorm with your peers, and fill in the blanks to write the story of what is truly happening at Ravenwood Academy.
• See a Different Side of the Spiral. Get a glimpse into the Academy before the events of Wizard101.
