Big things are afoot on RuneScape’s backend, as Jagex is preparing to migrate its legacy accounts (all accounts will be given 50 character slots total to help) to the new system and bringing out a MacOS Silicon launcher by the end of this month.

“Earlier this year, we gave you a heads up that the full migration to Jagex Accounts would be taking place later this year,” the studio’s devs said. “Today, we’re excited to share the day we’re planning to make the migration happen: November 17th, 2026! On this date, all Legacy accounts will need to make the one-time jump to Jagex Accounts.”
