《巫师3》高清复刻版 PS5 玩家开始疑惑 Mod 都去哪了
The Witcher 3 Remastered PS5 Players Start to Wonder Where All the Mods Are
Brothers in Arms、Blood and Steel等PC端大型Mod尚未登陆,且复杂Mod因PC框架在PS5上几乎无法实现。

It's been two weeks since the release of The Witcher 3 Remastered on PS5, and some players are starting to question where all of the mods are at.
If you didn't know, Remastered brings mod support to the console versions of the game for the first time, allowing mod authors to present their creations to a wider audience.
The mod functionality itself is built into the game through the main menu — all you have to do is hit the 'mods' option and then download the ones you want.
The problem right now is there's nothing to really get excited about. The game launched with over 40 mods available on PS5, but they're all relatively basic. Most are cosmetic alterations and very minor gameplay adjustments.

I think when mod support was announced for consoles, a lot of people expected some of The Witcher 3's more substantial creations to make the jump, but that hasn't happened yet.
Having said that, there's also a perception issue at play. While The Witcher 3 does have loads of mods available on PC, it certainly isn't on par with something like Skyrim, where people have been making sizeable expansions and complete gameplay reworks for well over a decade.
Indeed, the vast majority of mods for CD Projekt Red's RPG relate to mechanical tweaks, fixes, and graphical alterations. And so much of what these mods offer has already made it into Remastered, as the developer based many of its improvements — and quality of life options — on popular changes.
Here's a quick selection of some of the highest rated mods on PC, which go beyond fairly simple tweaks:
(Clockwise from top left: Brothers in Arms, Hoods, Blood and Steel, Fog of War)
So, in short, there aren't really that many game-changing mods out there, but that hasn't stopped PS5 players from questioning the general lack of mods across sites like Reddit, and in the comments sections of YouTube videos (there's a good video from The Hidden One that covers a bunch of highly rated PC mods for the remaster).
As it stands, just about the coolest mod available on PS5 right now is Hoods (as mentioned above), which adds a range of cosmetic hoods and cloaks to the game.
Actual experience-altering stuff, like Witcher's Work (procedurally generated contracts), Brothers in Arms (a huge restoration of cut content), and Blood and Steel (a popular combat overhaul), are currently nowhere to be seen.
But then there's also talk of particularly complex mods being borderline impossible to implement on PS5 because of PC-based modding tools and framework. I unfortunately don't know the ins and outs of this stuff, but it'll be interesting to see if any of the more involved mods eventually make their way to consoles.
