《Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve》全平台销量突破 100 万份

Bandai Namco Entertainment and Project Aces recently announced that Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve has sold over 1 million copies.

Shortly after the game’s launch on October 2, Ace Combat 8 set an all-time peak player count record on Steam for the franchise, with the game getting a peak player count of over 50,000. That’s well above Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown with 13,758.

Given this, it’s no surprise that Wings of Theve has also set a new sales record for the franchise. Specifically, the latest Ace Combat title has now sold over 1 million copies on all platforms, making it the fastest-selling game in the series to date. For comparison, it took Ace Combat 7 a bit over a year before reaching 2 million copies sold.

With its current sales total, Wings of Theve is already one of the top-selling games in the franchise, sitting just behind Ace Combat 04: Shattered Skies. Based on how well-received it is by both long-time fans and newcomers, it’s likely that this game will overtake AC4 soon (if it hasn’t done so yet).

Currently, Skies Unknown is the bestselling game in the franchise, with over 7 million units sold. With AC8’s success, it’s likely that it will take the crown off AC7 at some point in the future.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
