同人游戏专区“已完成”作品发布指南

Welcome to Games Showcase! This is the place to show off your fan games that are not hacks of ROMs (which belong in the relevant ROM Hacking sections on the forum).

As with our other fan game submission sections, threads in this area will go into a moderation queue for approval. Please note that it may take a few days for us to approve your thread as we are a small team of volunteers. Prior to submission, all threads must meet the below requirements.

All threads for fan games in this section must meet the following criteria. Please read them carefully.

• Completed: This section is only for games that are thoroughly tested and deemed completed by the creator. You can't have the Completed prefix if you're still going to update the game later on, because it clearly wouldn't be the final product you had in mind.

If your game is not completed, please post in the Progressing Fan Games section.

All threads submitted here must have an introduction and/or game summary included.

Let us know what you're using to make your game somewhere in the thread.

Tell the community what unique features your game has!

How far along is the game? Are there any future updates planned?

Include some screenshots, .gifs, walkthrough, etc, if applicable.

Download links are required in this section. You may link to your game's personal off-site website or Discord server, but if you include download links for your game, they may not exclusively be there. They must also be accessible within the thread itself (such as via a Mediafire or Dropbox link, or an on-site attachment file). Users should not be required to go to your website or join your Discord server to get access.

Credits are essential, even if you're the only one who worked on the game. List out everyone who assisted in its creation.

As well as following the above guidelines, please also ensure your game or game thread/posts do not have any of the following:

(Clarification added July 2026)
Emulators may be named, but not directed to or linked.

You are not permitted to monetize your game in any way. This includes microtransactions, linking to donation platforms such as PayPal, Ko-Fi, Kickstarter, and any other platform that allows you to make money. Any attempt to monetize your game will be promptly removed and your account may be actioned.

AI-generated content is not permitted. This includes art and writing, as well as any content in written threads/posts (like game summaries). For coding, only a very minimal level of AI may be used when it is truly needed, and in these cases the opening post of the thread must explicitly mention this. Assistive AI is allowed. (Updated June 2026)

You may not put any downloads through URL shorteners, even if you don't earn money off them.

You are not allowed to have an archive (e.g. zip, rar, 7zip) that requires a password to be extracted.

We do not tolerate bigotry, and do not permit any bigoted content - including ROM Hacks and Fan Games - to be hosted on PokéCommunity. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, homophobia, and transphobia, even if claimed to be 'just for fun' or 'a joke.' We strive to create an inclusive community and such content does not align with our views. If the ROM Hack or Fan Game you plan to submit has such content, your thread will be removed from view and you will be contacted.

Feel free to get in touch with a moderator and we'll help you as best as we can if you need help with posting in this section, including the criteria shown above.

If you're waiting for your thread to be approved, and it has been more than 72 hours since submission, feel free to contact us so we can review it.

If we reach out to you about an issue in your thread and you do not respond within one week, it will be removed and you will have to contact a sectional moderator to request its reinstatement, or alternatively, repost the thread (again, making sure the issues outlined have been addressed).
