Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced the launch of Tales of Eternia™ Remastered, an enhanced version of the beloved 2001 action RPG. Remastered for current platforms, the game invites players to experience an epic tale of eternity and bonds. The title is available now on Nintendo Switch™2, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, XBOX Series X|S, and PC via Steam®. Tales of Eternia Remastered is a remastered version of TALES OF ETERNIA™, one of the earliest entries of the TALES series first released in 2001 as TALES OF DESTINY™II in North America. The remastered title introduces a new Graphics Mode and SFX Mode that allows players to freely switch between remastered and original visuals and sound effects. Quality-of-life enhancements featured in this new title include a Boost feature to adjust experience gained and encounter frequency, toggleable destination icons, and a high-speed mode during Auto-mode mid-battle. Additional features include Battle Retry and Quick Recovery, along with new combat options including Extreme difficulty mode available from the start of the game and an all-new difficulty level called Unknown, which can be unlocked after completing the game.

Tales of Eternia Remastered follows Reid Hershel and his friends Farah, Keele, and the mysterious Meredy on a perilous quest filled with unforgettable characters and an epic story that unfolds across two different worlds. Set in Eternia, a world where these two intertwined worlds face each other across the sky, this band of heroes will explore and head on a journey to prevent the “Grand Fall,” a disaster that could destroy Inferia and Celestia. To stop this cataclysmic collision of the two worlds, they must seek the power of the Greater Craymels, harnessing the power of elemental spirits, while confronting themselves along the way.
