Casualties: Unknown is a game for people who love a tough challenge, with simulated limb and cardiovascular systems. There's still a demo available if you want to try it early, which works fine with Proton 11 on SteamOS / Linux systems.

What exactly is it then? Casualties: Unknown is a 2D cave-exploration survival simulator set beneath the surface of a hostile alien planet. Your captors want their lost cargo back, and they’ve sent you down to retrieve it. You're not the first. You're one of thousands of test subjects sent into the dark, and none of them made it back up. The only way forward is down, through layers of cave that grow stranger and less forgiving the deeper you go.

Supporting your body is the biggest challenge in it. Limbs, blood and heart all being simulated so you have to manage everything together. You can bleed out, injuries can get infected, you might black out and more. It certainly makes things interesting.
