《The Wolf Among Us Remastered》Switch版跳票，PS5/Xbox/PC版2026年10月29日发售如期

Telltale has delayed the Nintendo Switch version of The Wolf Among Us Remastered, announcing in a post on X that it “needs a little more time and will launch later. Timing coming soon.”

The delay leaves the 29 October 2026 launch date intact for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC versions, which Telltale confirmed in the same post are “still on for PS5, XBOX, and PC.” The PC release covers Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Steam’s listing still shows a 29 October 2026 date.

What Telltale said

In a fuller statement shared with press, the studio said it is taking the delay seriously: “With that in mind, we’re taking some additional time to ensure we deliver the experience Nintendo players deserve.” Telltale added it will share an updated release date for the Switch version as soon as it can.

The game marks the first time The Wolf Among Us comes to a Nintendo platform, so the delay pushes Switch players past the remaster’s launch window entirely. No replacement date has been given.

What is still unknown

Telltale’s statement does not mention Nintendo Switch 2 at all, even though the remaster was previously announced for both Switch consoles, and the studio has not said whether the newer console’s version is affected. Pricing is also open: Telltale has said it will share pricing and discount details on 20 October.

The remaster adds a black-and-white Noir Mode that can be switched on with a button press, five fully playable deleted scenes and more than an hour of bonus content including cast interviews and concept art. Character models were upgraded and environments were revamped with new textures and props.
