Test Your Knowledge in Final Answer
French indie developer Games Fabrik has announced Final Answer, a new trivia-based roguelite that puts players’ knowledge to the test through challenging questions, strategic upgrades, and increasingly difficult encounters. The game’s Steam page is now live, with playtests scheduled to begin on October 12, 2026, followed by a demo at a later date.
Final Answer takes a different approach to traditional trivia games by combining general knowledge challenges with roguelite progression. Players must answer questions across dozens of topics, defeat enemies, earn gold, and collect powerful relics to strengthen their builds. The ultimate goal is to survive four acts and face the Trivia Master.
Correct answers play a major role in shaping each run, directly contributing to the player’s growing power. Between relics, character abilities, and build-defining synergies, players will have plenty of opportunities to experiment with different strategies. The game also features increasing difficulty, ensuring that each attempt presents fresh challenges.
Final Answer will feature thousands of questions across numerous subjects, alongside two playable characters with distinct playstyles and three bosses featuring unique trivia mechanics. Players can also unlock additional themes and progress through increasingly demanding Prestige levels.
The game will support both French and English, making its trivia challenges accessible to players of both languages. Those interested can also check out the newly released announcement trailer for an early look at what the game has to offer.
Final Answer is scheduled to launch on Steam in Q1 2027, with playtests beginning on October 12, 2026. For trivia fans who enjoy a little strategy alongside their general knowledge, Final Answer could offer an interesting twist on the roguelite formula when it arrives next year.
