PlayStation Plus 2026年10月新增《Mafia: The Old Country》《Horizon Forbidden West》与首发《Mycopunk》

Sony has revealed the October 2026 lineup for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, with Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk leading the latest additions.

Most of the new games become available on October 20 for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members.

Premium subscribers will also receive two additional classics, while Sony is expanding its October HorrorFest campaign with new packs, DLC offers and Game Trials.

Mafia: The Old Country Leads October Lineup

One of the biggest additions is Mafia: The Old Country for PS5.

The game takes the series back to early 20th-century Sicily and follows Enzo Favara as he attempts to survive and establish himself within the criminal underworld.

Unlike the modern American settings associated with previous Mafia entries, The Old Country focuses on the origins of organized crime.

Sony positions it as one of the headline games for the October catalog.

The main Extra and Premium additions include:

• Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk
• Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 and The Midnight Walk
• Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition
• Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game

Most arrive on October 20, although several titles have different regional release dates.

Horizon Forbidden West Returns to PlayStation Plus

Horizon Forbidden West is also returning to the catalog.

The PS5 and PS4 action RPG follows Aloy as she travels through the Forbidden West and encounters new tribes, machines and threats.

Sony explicitly labels the addition as a PlayStation Plus re-release.

That makes its return notable for subscribers who missed the game during its previous period in the service.

Horizon Forbidden West gives October’s lineup one of its strongest established first-party titles alongside the newer releases.

Mycopunk Launches Day One

Mycopunk is arguably the most interesting addition from a subscription perspective.

The four-player co-op looter shooter launches worldwide on October 20 and will enter the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on the same day.

Players control a group of robots working for the SAXON corporation as they fight fungal creatures across a planet affected by a mysterious biological disaster.

The game features hundreds of handcrafted upgrades and mission-based co-op gameplay.

Day-one releases remain one of the clearest ways for subscription catalogs to attract attention, and Mycopunk gives October a completely new title rather than relying entirely on older releases.

Horror Games Strengthen October Theme

Sony is also leaning into Halloween with several horror-focused additions.

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 joins the catalog on PS5 and PS4.

The game continues the story inside Playtime Co., introducing new puzzles and threats as players explore deeper sections of the abandoned toy factory.

The Midnight Walk offers a very different approach.

Its dark fantasy world was physically created in clay and presented using a stop-motion visual style. It can be played traditionally on PS5 or through PlayStation VR2.

Some regional dates differ, so availability can vary between PlayStation Store regions.

Tales of Arise and Supercross Join Later

Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition is another major RPG addition.

It includes Bandai Namco’s Tales of Arise experience alongside the Beyond the Dawn expansion.

Sony lists the game for both PS5 and PS4.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 – The Official Video Game also joins the catalog, bringing Unreal Engine 5-powered racing, updated riders and dynamic tracks.

In the US, UK and Japan, both titles are scheduled for October 27 rather than October 20.

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 follows the same later date in those regions.

Premium Adds Dino Crisis 2

PlayStation Plus Premium receives two additional games beyond the standard Game Catalog.

Dino Crisis 2 is the more notable of the pair.

The Capcom survival action title returns with Regina and Dylan facing increasingly large groups of dinosaurs after another Third Energy disaster.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition also joins Premium, giving subscribers access to the classic amusement park management game on PS5 and PS4.

Premium additions are:

• Dino Crisis 2
• RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition
• New Game Trials for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II

The new Game Trials become available on October 20.

HorrorFest Adds Extra PS Plus Benefits

Sony is also expanding its HorrorFest campaign beyond the main catalog.

A World War Z Vibrant Halloween Skin Pack arrives on October 20 with Halloween-themed weapons and cosmetics.

Back 4 Blood players can claim the Tunnels of Terror Expansion 1 without additional cost from October 21 through November 4, while other DLC receives major discounts.

A Dead by Daylight community challenge runs from October 20 to 26.

If players collectively complete 10 million matches, PlayStation Plus members will unlock an exclusive Buccaneer Buds Charm pack.

Assessment

October 2026 is a particularly broad PlayStation Plus month.

Mafia: The Old Country provides a major recent release, Horizon Forbidden West adds a proven first-party blockbuster and Mycopunk gives subscribers a new game on launch day.

Premium users also get a strong nostalgia addition with Dino Crisis 2.

Sony’s HorrorFest promotions reinforce the seasonal focus without making the entire lineup dependent on horror.

For subscribers, the biggest date is October 20, when most of the catalog additions and Premium benefits become available.
