Battlefield 6 年度版推出并限时40%折扣

Battlefield 6 GOTY Edition

Battlefield 6 has officially received a Game of the Year Edition, arriving just days after the shooter’s first anniversary. Electronic Arts has also introduced a surprisingly generous launch promotion, offering the new edition at 40% off for a limited time.

The new edition launched on October 13, 2026, alongside Battlefield 6 Season 5. According to the game’s official Steam listing, the special promotional discount will remain available until October 20, giving players one week to purchase the expanded package at a reduced price.

Importantly, the 40% discount applies specifically to the Game of the Year Edition, not the Standard Edition. The latter remains available as a separate purchase, while the GOTY package includes the full game and additional premium content.

The Game of the Year Edition combines Battlefield 6 with several previously released bonuses and new additions. One of its biggest features is the Ultimate Shortcut Kit, which provides immediate access to fully progressed weapons and attachments, allowing newcomers to bypass much of the normal weapon progression.

The package also contains Shortcut Kits for all four playable classes: Assault, Support, Engineer, and Recon. Players additionally receive the new Trusted Reserve Pax Armata Support Soldier Skin, Mortal Shriek Dog Tag, and Field Training: Cross Trained Player Title.

Another major inclusion is the Battlefield Pro Token, which can be redeemed for the season in which a player first uses it. This provides access to the seasonal Battle Pass, 25 Tier Skips, exclusive rewards, and other Battlefield Pro benefits.

EA has also bundled the existing Phantom Pack into the GOTY Edition. This includes the Crossbones, Mirage, Specter, and Wraith Soldier Skins, alongside the Glimmer Melee Knife Skin, Shrouded M433 Assault Rifle Weapon Package, and Drop Shadow M2010 ESR Sniper Rifle Weapon Package.

Additional bonuses include the Chimera M1A2 SEPv3 Tank Skin, Death’s Head Weapon Sticker, Cryptic Weapon Charm, Operative Dog Tag, and Phantom XP Boost Set.

Unlike traditional Game of the Year releases that primarily bundle story expansions, Battlefield 6’s new edition focuses heavily on progression shortcuts, seasonal benefits, and cosmetic content. Its Ultimate Shortcut Kit is particularly useful for players joining the game later, as it removes the need to individually level weapons to unlock their attachments.

Battlefield 6 Season 5

The timing also coincides with the release of Season 5: Siege of Vegas, which introduces the Vegas Strip and Area 51 multiplayer maps, four new weapons, and the Rapid Royale experience for Battlefield REDSEC.

EA has additional content planned throughout the season, including another multiplayer map, new vehicles, the Operation High Roller experience, and further gameplay improvements.

The GOTY Edition arrives a year after Battlefield 6 originally launched on October 10, 2025. Since then, the shooter has expanded with additional maps, weapons, modes, and seasonal updates.

Battlefield 6 now features 20 maps, more than 70 weapons, and over 700,000 Battlefield Portal experiences, alongside its single-player campaign and large-scale multiplayer battles.

For newcomers, the introductory discount makes the Game of the Year Edition a more attractive option than purchasing its premium bonuses separately. However, players interested in the deal will need to act before October 20, 2026, when Steam’s 40% promotion is scheduled to end.

Battlefield 6 is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Players can purchase the GOTY Edition through Steam, while other platform editions and pricing can be checked through the official EA website.
