Square Enix今日发售Final Fantasy Resonance，HD-2D RPG登陆Switch 2与Switch

Square Enix launched Final Fantasy Resonance today, and we have a new trailer to celebrate. This is the series’ first HD-2D game, and it’s out now. You can check out our coverage of the Nintendo Switch 1 vs. Switch 2 differences for a closer look at how the two versions compare.

Square Enix shares the following details about the RPG:

The first HD-2D game in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy Resonance, is a celebration of classic and modern Final Fantasy that evokes the beloved titles of yesteryear. This tale of Crystals features a strategic turn-based battle system with a modern twist, the return of chocobos, espers and airships, in addition to appearances from beloved Final Fantasy characters such as Cloud, Tidus and the Warrior of Light – all presented in stunning, retro-inspired HD-2D graphics that push the limits of pixel art. Final Fantasy Resonance is based on the first story arc of the mobile game Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Far from just a direct port, it has been refined and extensively rebuilt as a full-fledged console-quality RPG experience.

The game follows a memorable cast of characters led by Rain, a knight of the Kingdom of Grandshelt, who is exceptionally skilled and entrusted with commanding an airship squadron at a young age. He teams up with childhood friend Laswell to embark on a journey filled with dramatic twists and turn, emotional moments and epic confrontations.

In Final Fantasy Resonance, Final Fantasy’s classic turn-based battles evolve to deliver greater accessibility and deeper strategy. Bolster the team with Visions, echoes of beloved FINAL FANTASY characters, who fight alongside the party with unique skills and abilities for deep party customization. Exploit enemy weaknesses to stagger foes, break their defenses and seize extra turns to gain the upper hand. Harness the Visions’ powerful Resonance attacks in cinematic battles shaped by smart choices.

With a sprawling story and plenty of side content, the world of Final Fantasy Resonance is full of secrets, including optional, challenging bosses, a Colosseum with deadly monsters and rewards to match, the Chamber of Arms with formidable foes sealed within legendary weapons, and a showdown with Ultima Weapon – a staple of Final Fantasy games.

Whether a longtime fan or someone new to the series, Final Fantasy Resonance is the culmination of nearly 40 years of Final Fantasy games and perfect for anyone ready to dive into an epic adventure they will never forget.
