Skate 粉丝创建离线 mod 启动器 ReSkate 引 Full Circle 回应
Skate fans create a mod launcher that makes the game playable offline, causing Full Circle to respond

If you’re the kind of person who still despises the fact that Skate is an online-only multiplayer entry in the series, then you may have already been informed about ReSkate, a recently released modding platform that, among other things, lets players enjoy the game completely offline and with full unlocks.
The platform, created by coders zee_x64 and ReGlitched as well as with AI assistance, allows areas of the game to be freely played as well as multiple other forms of custom content, including characters, outfits, and custom servers. Meanwhile, the platform’s posted Discord rules prohibit users from unlocking paid or unreleased content, resulting in a ban for doing so. The platform will also only work with the current version of Skate itself.
And it’s that potential for paid content to be utilized by ReSkate that has forced developer Full Circle to issue a statement about modding in general.
“To be completely clear, we are not against creativity from players or stopping that from happening. Where we have to draw the line is when mods or other tools bypass our systems to unlock paid cosmetics, release gated/unreleased content, or profit from these unauthorized assets. That rips off the artists, skate brands, and creators, as well as our own development team here at Full Circle, who work hard to bring skate culture into our game.”
That same statement additionally assures fans that Full Circle is “building official, secure access tools that enable broader, deeper community creation” in response to the call for more custom content in Skate.
Regardless, the cat is absolutely out of the bag: ReSkate has been reportedly downloaded over 350,000 times as of last week, already has 163 forks on its GitHub page, and appears to have aided in a slow climb of active users on Steam over the past month. “Honestly didn’t realize how big this was going to be,” zee_x64 told PC Gamer. “We were just doing it for the love of the game.”
As of right now, it looks like ReSkate hasn’t been nuked from orbit by Electronic Arts’ lawyers, so if you have particularly strong aversions to Skate the online game, you’ve got an option. Just realize that it’s very possibly temporary, and mod any game at your own risk.
