Aspyr公布《史瑞克2》高清复刻版，2026年11月10日多平台发售

Shrek 2 is officially making a comeback, with Aspyr announcing DreamWorks Shrek 2 Remastered for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The announcement was made on October 20 in collaboration with Universal, confirming that the remastered version of the beloved 2004 action-adventure game will launch on November 10, 2026.

According to Aspyr’s official announcement, the remaster features improved graphics, updated cutscenes, enhanced textures, and a redesigned user interface, alongside several modern gameplay additions.

One of the biggest improvements is support for 4K resolution on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 when docked.

The remaster also introduces Photo Mode, allowing players to capture moments throughout their adventure, alongside a new Cheats Menu for unlocking additional gameplay options.

Another major addition is expanded multiplayer support. While the original game was known for its local cooperative gameplay, Shrek 2 Remastered supports up to four players through local, online, and mixed co-op.

This means players can team up on the same system, play together online, or combine local and online multiplayer sessions.

Players will once again take control of Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and other familiar characters while traveling across the fairytale kingdom of Far Far Away.

The adventure takes players through recognizable locations from the animated film, including Shrek’s swamp and Fiona’s castle, while featuring combat encounters, environmental puzzles, and hidden Easter eggs.

Aspyr has also confirmed that players can swap between available characters at any time, making it easier to use their unique abilities to defeat enemies, overcome obstacles, and progress through the story.

The original Shrek 2 game launched in May 2004 on PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and PC, becoming a nostalgic favorite among fans of the DreamWorks franchise.

Aspyr has also released an official announcement trailer, showcasing the updated graphics, familiar characters, and returning gameplay.

Digital pre-orders are now available with a 10% introductory discount, reducing the price from $29.99 to $26.99 in the United States. On PlayStation 5, the discount requires an active PlayStation Plus subscription.

Players can pre-order through Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, and participating console storefronts.

The remaster was also featured during the October 20 ID@Xbox Showcase, where its November release date was officially confirmed.
