《Peak》10月22日登陆PS5结束PC独占

Following a leak that happened thanks to the ESRB, Aggro Crab and Landfall Games’ hit co-op adventure, Peak, is shedding its PC exclusivity this month, arriving on all modern platforms

Alongside the release of the game to console, console owners can even snag themselves a physical copy via retailers like VGP. Pre-orders are open right now, though, no release date is attached, and they come with not just the game, but also an extra game code to give to your friend and a “Passport Kit,” which looks to be an assortment of stickers.

Now, as to why they finally decided to bring Peak to consoles, I think it was mostly just a means to draw a bit more player interest. The Final Ascent, the most recent major update is its last, as the studio doesn’t want the title to be a “forever game” with new things that will eventually just bloat the experience.

Now, Peak isn’t dead to the developer, to be clear. They are continuing to patch bugs and issue normal maintenance updates, as well as fostering the growing modding community of people who can’t put the game down.

Peak launches on PS5 on October 22.
