Lurkers now has a Steam page, and the free demo is out for Windows, Mac and Linux as part of Steam Next Fest, running until 26 October. The full game is coming to Steam in Early Access.

What's new since the last devlog

Survival Biomes 🌲🌵❄️🌋

A new gamemode with a huge generated world: forests, deserts, jungles, snow, volcanoes, highlands, mountains and oceans. Dig into deep caves, underground forests and the dangerous Abyss, or climb to floating sky isles. Raid castles, underworld fortresses and trapped dungeons with treasure vaults and bosses. Mobs spawn by biome, with factions, raiders and traders, and water and lava flow block by block.

Electronics & mechanics ⚡

Buttons, levers, lamps, gates, repeaters and inverters to wire up your own contraptions. Hoppers, conveyor belts and dispensers move items for you, and note blocks play tunes.

Desktop & singleplayer 🖥️

Download Lurkers for Windows, Mac or Linux, with Steam login and the overlay. Play offline in your own singleplayer world, with its own saved gamemode and map.

Bedwars Hardcore: you die fast but respawn quickly with a gun. Get back to your base to heal
Ragdolls: characters fall limp when killed
Waypoints: craft them to fast travel around your world
Shields, Sledgehammer and Uzi, plus melee throwing and weapon tweaks
Rebind every key in Settings > Controls
News and "What's new" in the main menu, and map previews in the server list
Smoother framerate on the web, especially in big fights, and the game uses much less data
