Deadhand Theater is a dark, turn-based roguelike deckbuilder. Play poker hands to command your puppet, and when a fight turns ugly, tear off your own limbs for powerful effects at the cost of their boons.

WHAT'S NEW SINCE V0.3

- Major revamp of the main menu UI, now with a diegetic design (functions are the same)
- Added the Backstage stage for selecting difficulty (character and deck selection are coming in the full game)
- Added difficulty selection. Each difficulty unlocks after you beat the previous one, and the selection itself unlocks once you’ve beaten a run.
- Added the Upgrade stage, where you can upgrade your character to improve your chances of finishing the performance!
- Added a new progression currency for upgrading characters (more uses coming soon)
- Added an Experience Counter (named STC) to the run end screen, showing how much progression currency you gained from that run
- Updated the visual animations for poker hands
- Moved the poker hand ability guide for easier access during battle
- Added several new sound effects!
- Added new songs for the main menu and boss battle
- Various name and copy changes
- Various balancing adjustments

The demo is finally out! While we keep an eye on your feedback and bug reports, we’re already working on the next round of updates. Our two main focuses are polishing the UX and visuals (animation details and more) and adding new features, such as a few new stages that are in the works. So stay tuned for future updates!
