《泰拉瑞亚》中实现愿望成真
Making a Wish Come True in Terraria
Greetings Terrarians!
As you all know, we cannot say enough about how much we appreciate the members of our community. In addition, we have always tried our best to be a charity-minded company. With that as background, we are beyond thrilled to share that we are partnering with the Make-A-Wish® Foundation to make a young Terrarian's wish come true!
Make-A-Wish® New Jersey contacted us a few months ago to share that they had a huge Terraria fan whose biggest wish we could help make a reality. Of course, we jumped at the chance to make this happen and we were quickly introduced to Frank. Frank is a 17-year-old teenager from Rockaway, New Jersey who is battling a critical illness. Frank declared to Make-A-Wish® New Jersey that his one true wish was to have his own Vanity Set in Terraria.
Since then, we have been working closely with Frank to bring this Vanity Set to life - from initial concepts to various iterations to adding flavor text and more, it has been a real honor and pleasure to work hand-in-hand with Frank to make his dream a reality. He is certainly a Terrarian, through and through!
With all that said, we are pleased to be able to reveal Frank's Vanity set, which will be coming everyone's way with the Terraria 1.4.5 update...

We also included a brand new shader, inspired by the "film noir" style of Frank's design. We haven't fully sorted out how this will be toggled just yet, but we will in time.
As always, there may be further tweaks and such to this set and the shader before it goes live in Terraria 1.4.5, but we didn't want to wait any longer to share it with all of you!
We also sent Frank a little Terraria swag...
Huge thanks go out to Frank, Make-A-Wish® New Jersey, the entire Terraria dev team, and our very own @Jaxrud🌳 who took on the monumental task of fulfilling this wish. We cannot wait to see Frank's reaction when he gets a chance to dive into Terraria with his very own Vanity Set later this year!

Very cool vanity set! Sending all good wishes and strength to Frank and his family as he continues his battle. Enjoy that pile of swag and getting to play with your Heroicis vanity in the update when it comes out.
Maybe the new shader gets enabled via wearing the hat?
This is an awesome set! I love the new shaders, too. Congrats to Frank!
love the shader! I was thinking of being a film noir detective on my next playthrough and this is a great addition. I'd suggest making it somewhat like the Radio Thing from DST, maybe a box of cigarettes or a glass of scotch that can be equipped.
best of wishes to Frank! hope you enjoy your set when it comes out!

I want this so bad, it looks so good. I'm definitely going to use it. I hope Frank gets the chance to use it!
The set is very cool, personally I wouldn't use it because it's not really for my liking but I can imagine some cool vanities with this.
That concept art is awesome!
Maybe activating the shader will be something to Yoraiz0r's Scowl... or something similar to the Radio Thing
I hope Frank survives what ever he is going through (
This makes my heart melt. Let's all pray that Frank get better.
this looks badass! Hope the creator gets to use it once the update releases

Agreed.
That set looks classy af.
As for the filter, I think it would make sense to have a vanity accessory similar to the Radio Thing. Perhaps it could a stylized magnifying glass
, a symbol stereotypically associated with detective work
I hope Frank can beat whatever it is that ails him!
i love all of this!
also, what's the trading card looking thing in terraria swag 1.png? is that part of the board game?

Which? There are cards with the Novel stuff... but not as a standalone? Board Game isn't included here.

these may not be cards, but I was just wondering what they were, or if they've been talked about before.
edit: wait i think the ones on the right are keychains, I'm still not sure what's on the left. maybe the same
Hey everybody thank you for all the support! Me and my family are doing well. I’m glad you like my set as much as the team and I do!
