Hunter pets are seeing some nerfs in the latest WoW: Forever build, particularly to abilities that were too similar to other classes.
The community has raised concerns about how powerful some Hunter abilities such as Dismember and Sonic Blast were, especially since, to many, it felt like Hunters were simply gaining too much utility. Blizzard has now nerfed several of these abilities, drastically reducing effect length and value.
While these abilities are still strong, they're notably less powerful than they were, bringing back some power to other classes such as Warrior and Warlock, particularly in PvP.
