CD Projekt Red today announced a major 2.5 update for Cyberpunk 2077 today, and while the company didn’t have much to share in terms of information, first details have since leaked.
The update is celebrating the release of the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2. CD Projekt Red will be providing an official look during a live stream tomorrow, October 21, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM in the UK / 5 PM in Europe.
It seems that the studio reached out to certain content creators and provided them with an early look at what’s on the way. The following tidbits were shared by WesNemo:
- Dual Wielding PISTOLS in Cool Tree (Double Trouble perk)
- New Edgerunners 2 Gig (Clampdown)
- New NC Tour mystery sidequest
- Five new clothing sets
- New radio station w/ Edgerunners soundtracks
- Glamdocs that customize your arm cyberware
- New hairstyles for both male and female
- Quadra skins via Twitch drops
- FOV on consoles
At least for now, the one thing that will be missing on Nintendo Switch 2 is baked in Mod.io support. Nintendo’s console is not listed for that feature.
The game is out on Nintendo Switch 2 and the update goes live this Thursday, October 22. CD Projekt Red previously spoke about Cyberpunk 2077’s Nintendo Switch 2 sales numbers and said it was “very happy” with how that version performed.
