The next Crimson Desert Enhanced expansion, Charting The Unknown, is coming on October 29; here’s all you need to know.

Pearl Abyss keeps delivering more Crimson Desert to fans, and today, they’ve uncorked a wealth of new content, including all of the new features to be unleashed in the new DLC, Charting the Unknown. Like the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 port, Pearl Abyss continues to expand the Desert for fans, and the new DLC has been detailed in a fresh trailer overview of everything coming on October 29, which you can see below.

While Pearl Abyss has been steadily updating the massive chasm that is the Crimson Desert RPG since its release back in March, the Charting The Unknown expansion marks a massive overhaul that brings everything Pearl Abyss has deployed to strengthen Crimson Desert before and then some. These improvements include needed fixes and patches, as well as new systems players can explore. Oh, and players can finally get married in-game, a feature that has been sought after on fan forums since launch. All of the new features are detailed below.

Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting The Unknown Key Features

• New stories incoming, as the stories of Kliff, Damiane and Oongka continue as each sets out to forge their own path.
• Fans can now explore above and below water as new regions open with their own storyline. Players unlock shipbuilding in Charting the Unknown, as well as gather resources to build and customize their own vessel. You can then sail to the ocean’s islands and defeat enemy forces. You can also set up new strongholds alongside your Greymane comrades on these islands.
• Players can design their home from the ground up with a new housing system. You can become a master architect, including where walls, windows and other structural elements go. This includes new castles to liberate, and dress at your convenience. You can also run and manage your own business in Pywel!
• A new Boss Gauntlet has also been included in Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting The Unknown, allowing players to test their mettle against a slew of boss fights from the base game.
