PEAK将于10月22日登陆PS5、Xbox Series X|S和Switch 2

If you didn’t get hooked on PEAK when it made waves last year because of the lack of console versions, good news.

You’ll get to join those adorable nature walkers on an adventure through a mysterious island on your PS5, Xbox Series X|S, or Switch 2 in less than a week, as the Complete Edition hits those platforms on October 22nd. What’s more, crossplay lets you set up play sessions with your buddies.

The gameplay loop involves scavenging for useful supplies to scale the island’s highest mountain, letting you send out an SOS for rescue. Of course, that mountain’s pretty determined to keep you on the island, with a shifting landscape you need to navigate each day, relying on teamwork, coordination, and strategy in a very entertaining effort to beat Mother Nature at her own game.

Interesting tools and a myriad of ways to use them will make that task quite enjoyable. The Complete Edition includes all updates, including new biomes and items for free, along with goodies and a buddy code so you can bring a friend right off the bat. The announcement trailer’s below if you’re looking for a better sense of what awaits you on the island’s shores.
