Toronto, Canada, 15 October 2026 – Publisher Komi Games and solo developer GrahfMetal (Jeff Canam) are thrilled to announce that Infested DX, a retro sci-fi horror point-and-click adventure game, will officially launch on PC via Steam on October 27 for $9.99 USD. A playable demo is available throughout October’s Steam Next Fest, for players brave enough to face the derelict corridors ahead of launch.

Awakening as the sole survivor aboard a desolate starship, players must navigate deadly hazards, hostile creatures and lethal environmental traps, as they search to find a cure for their own infection, chart a route home and make sense of the nightmare that doomed the rest of the crew.

Drawing deep inspiration from brutal, atmosphere-drenched classics such as Shadowgate and Déjà Vu, Infested DX embraces high-stakes retro puzzle-solving. Expect to die fast, die often, and rely on unconventional experimentation to overcome relentless obstacles across a focused, three-hour campaign.

Originally released in 2016 as an 8-bit indie darling on Itch.io, Infested DX marks GrahfMetal’s definitive return to the project following the acclaimed launch of 2024’s Beyond Shadowgate. Rebuilt from the ground up to realise the game’s full vision, this “DX” edition delivers a vast visual overhaul alongside substantial new content and modern quality-of-life improvements.
