Azimuth 0.10.0进度公布与未授权副本警示

About a copy of Azimuth

There's a Forza Motorsport 5 builder going around that is built on Azimuth, taken without our permission. The program it has you run is Azimuth 0.9.9, our own executable, patched and renamed in everything you see: the window, the log, the settings and the error messages. It also ships other Azimuth files as its own. Apart from a mention on its project page and in its builder's credits, it presents Azimuth as its own engine.

Azimuth is free to download and use. It is not free to take: it is all rights reserved, and nobody may redistribute it, modify it or rename it without our permission. That builder does all three, without that permission.

What this means for you:

• It is not Azimuth, and we don't support it. Problems with it are its author's.
• Get Azimuth only from https://almost-there-games.itch.io/azimuth
• Forza Motorsport 5 is coming to Azimuth itself in 0.10.0, built properly into Azimuth rather than patched onto an old copy of it.

There was minimal effort this person/group took and it's basically a theft. Anyone who is ok with it as long as something new is playable is part of a problem.

Where 0.10.0 stands

It isn't out yet but should be in a couple of days.

Forza Horizon 2 and Fast & Furious

• Racing wheel support (experimental): force feedback, H-pattern shifters and handbrakes
• Further scenery detail, with Low, High and Ultra levels
• Steam Deck: about 15–20% less GPU work per frame in our tests
• Error messages say more precisely what went wrong

Forza Motorsport 5 (experimental)

• Game is fully playable, with no crashes in our play testing so far
• Its own 13 languages, frame rates (60 by default; 30 and above 60 experimental), and Low, High and Ultra presets
• In progress: aspect ratios other than 16:9

Forza Motorsport 6 (experimental)

• Starts and reaches races, with sound.
• No enhancements vs original console game yet

Forza Horizon 3 (experimental)

• Starts and reaches races, with sound.
• No enhancements vs original console game yet
