《上古卷轴IV：湮灭》与《幽灵线：东京》加入GOG保存计划

GOG has announced that both The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Ghostwire: Tokyo have joined its GOG Preservation Program. Both are accessible on the program with new updates, alongside no DRM.

According to GOG itself, the Preservation Program ensures that “classic games remain playable on modern systems, even after their developers stopped supporting them.” The games included are both DRM-free and have dedicated tech support. In a post, GOG outlines the new additions:

Two remarkable adventures get a special treatment GOG! The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion – Game of the Year Edition Deluxe joins the GOG Preservation Program, while Ghostwire: Tokyo arrives on GOG for the first time, joining the Program as well.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion update introduces all five localizations (English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish), support for modern controllers and hotplugging, optimized controller layouts, and a fix for Alt+Tab task switching and a memory leak during controller rebinding.

Meanwhile, Ghostwire: Tokyo invites players into a deserted Tokyo haunted by supernatural forces. Harness elemental abilities, confront mysterious spirits, and uncover the truth behind the city’s disappearance in an atmospheric adventure inspired by Japanese folklore. We’re pleased to welcome the game in our catalog, while also entering the GOG Preservation Program!

Now, both these adventures are accessible for years to come – so new players can discover them and longtime fans can return whenever the urge strikes.

Both The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion and Ghostwire: Tokyo are available to purchase at a discount on the storefront. The former costs $4.99, while the latter costs $14.99.
