Using Your Phone as a Controller on a Real Wii. Did Anyone Else Try Pepomote v2.0?

On October 20th, a blogger named PepoTech showed PepoMote v2.0 on his YouTube channel, where he introduced a new feature for controlling the Wii console using a phone.

An old version v 1.13.3 that is available on GitHub, which, as I understand, works only with Dolphin. The new version v2.0 that works on Wii can be downloaded from this guy's site only. My path was: I went to the GitHub page, from there to Discord, and then I got to this guy's site.

I tried this on two games. First was World of Goo - I used a real Wiimote as player 1 and my phone as player 2. I played for about 5 minutes, and so far everything feels great. The second game was Rayman Origins with the same setup. In the horizontal Wiimote layout, I couldn't find the B button. In the game, that's the button that controls running. Also played for about 5 minutes.

I used a Poco F1 with Android 10. The guide mentioned that to reduce lag and delays, it's better to use it together with Shizuku. I tried it without Shizuku though, and I didn't notice any significant delays - everything works great. I'm honestly just overwhelmed right now.

If someone could share a link to this video, I'd be thankful. I'm a newbie and probably can't post links myself.
