After months of work (after years of prework and thinking and planning) I've got the first Demo ready of my fan-made Digimon-game, made within Pokémon Essentials, thus, a Pokémon game WITH Digimon.

Digimon Story: Genesis is a brand new story that is about your Player, entering a new world, the Digital World, with help of your classmate, Nova.https://imgur.com/1pyVRH3 Together, go on an adventure to explore this new world, even though your friend has a bit of a headstart. Create strong teams to fight other Tamers you'll meet, even seeing some return in later points of your own story.
But discourse is brewing, as alignments shift in this Digital World, and people and Digimon have to choose sides. Guardians that protect humanity and the Worldbuilding, Rebels that resist and want the Digital World to grow for the sake of the entities finding their place in the tall grass, dark caves and deep waters of the Digital World. Find yourself in the middle of conflict, that will even lead to an encounter with things that were present at the Genesis of the Digital World.​

* As the Player, you get thrown into a story about this new, developing World, as people and Digimon alike try to find their place in this world. You meet original characters, all with their own views and goals.

* As one of 8 profiles (or character looks), start your adventure in the Digital World with one of 6 starting Partner Digimon, freshly hatched from an Egg.

* Obtain your Digivice from Professor Dafne and help her to find each of the more than 740 Digimon to be found in this World. (Complete Field Guide: )
Can you complete the whole Field Guide?
All Digimon are unique, with having their own stat distributions, typings, abilities, level up movesets and of course... branching Digivolution paths, with the chance to Dedigivolve.

* Fight in District Tournaments, bracket-formed championships that lead to 1 winner, who gets the opportunity to fight the District Leader, this game's 'Gym Leader'-type trainer, and a way to express how skilled a Tamer is.

* Some typings have been changed, like the Fairy-type. That's known here as the Light-type, with not only dealing super-effective damage against Dark-types, but also taking super-effective damage from Dark-types. More changes have been made to typings, such as Ice-types now resisting those chilling Ghost-type moves.

The Demo that's released now, is playable up to the Second District Tournament [Second Gym], with the Player having Digimon around level 30 at the end of it. Find the download link down here, where you'll be led to a Google Drive, containing the ZIP-file with the game data, a PNG of the whole DigiDex, a list of Digimon with stats, typings and abilities and a town map.
Updates on files will automatically be replaced, but of course you'll need to download updates if there will be any new ones!

I'm already working hard on the next parts, working towards a full release. Some overhauls will be done based on demo feedback, as future implementations are also being worked on, such as:

• Side Quest system
• Shiny Digimon
• Difficulty options / Nuzlocke features
• DNA Digivolution and Armor Digivolutions (currently being worked on; Digimon itself are already in the data, just not obtainable yet)
• Endgame content

and even
- More Digimon (expanded to a dex of 730+ obtainable Digimon)
- Fresh tilesets

Also: I'm not ruling out any 'DLC' possiblities, since I'm still bursting with ideas I want to give a place in the future (so I will not overwhelm myself...!). There's still place on the Region Map, anyway...!
