Owners of Hitman: Absolution on Nintendo Switch can download the Upgrade Pack from the eShop for free from launch day until November 4. From November 5, it costs $9.99 / €4.99 / £4.99.

Switch 2 owners who don’t have the game can buy the Switch 2 Edition at a 25 percent discount, at $29.99 / €24.99 / £19.99. From November 5, the price rises to $39.99 / €29.99 / £24.99. Feral has so far announced only an eShop release.

What Improves on Switch 2

Compared with the 2025 Switch release, the new edition raises the output resolution in both handheld and TV mode. A new Performance preset targets 60fps in both modes, and improved animations and visual effects make for richer environments. Joy-Con mouse support is included too.

Feral’s blog also lists improvements to level of detail, shadow quality and texture filtering, along with a trailer and a full breakdown of the new features.

Contracts mode is also available on release day. It lets players create their own assassination assignments and share them online so others can try to beat their score. Feral describes the mode as cross-platform.

Agent 47 gets a sharper suit for the new hardware. Owners of the original Switch version have about two weeks after launch to claim the upgrade at no cost, so there’s no rush on day one.
