Dive Into a Dangerous Underwater World in Fathom Reach

Indie developer Feldsparc has revealed that Fathom Reach, an underwater roguelike deckbuilder, will launch on Steam on November 3, 2026. Players eager to dive into its dangerous depths can get an early taste when an enhanced demo arrives during Steam Next Fest on October 19.

Set beneath a ruined ocean, Fathom Reach challenges players to explore deadly chambers, take on increasingly dangerous enemies, and build devastating card combos. However, every dive comes with a risk. Players must decide how far to push their luck before retreating with their hard-earned loot.

The game features 220 cards across four factions, giving players plenty of room to experiment with different builds. Whether you prefer crushing enemies with Armor-powered attacks, spreading corrosion, marking targets, or unleashing swarms of drones, there’s plenty of potential for creative strategies. Dive modules add another layer of customization, allowing players to discover new ways to combine their favorite cards.

But surviving the ocean is only half the challenge. Fathom Reach also lets players construct their own bases, setting up gun-coral, traps, and a Pressure-Heart to fend off rival divers. These defenses continue fighting while players are away, and they can use defense reports to fine-tune their layouts before raiding other players’ bases. Online access is required for these asynchronous raids.

The enhanced demo launching during Steam Next Fest will give players a chance to test their strategies before the full release.
