BLAST has confirmed the complete team list for BLAST Rivals Season 2, setting up one of the strongest Counter-Strike 2 tournaments of the closing months of 2026. Spirit, Vitality, MOUZ, Falcons, FURIA, Legacy, G2 and FUT will travel to Hong Kong for the eight-team event from November 11 to 15.

The teams will compete at AsiaWorld-Arena in Chek Lap Kok for a share of a $1 million prize pool. With several tournament winners and many of the highest-ranked teams in Counter-Strike attending, the field leaves little room for an easy matchup.

Eight teams confirmed for Hong Kong

BLAST’s final lineup combines established championship contenders with teams that have made major progress during the current season.

Spirit and Vitality enter as obvious title threats, while MOUZ and Falcons add further elite-level opposition. FURIA return to the venue after winning the inaugural Hong Kong edition in 2025, giving the Brazilian organization an opportunity to defend its title.

The full lineup is:

  • Spirit
  • Vitality
  • MOUZ
  • Falcons

The remaining four participants are:

  • FURIA
  • Legacy
  • G2
  • FUT

Legacy’s inclusion adds another Brazilian presence to the field, while FUT continue their rise into increasingly prestigious international tournaments. G2 also bring a roster capable of challenging for deep playoff runs.

With all eight teams presenting realistic upset potential, BLAST Rivals Season 2 has one of the most concentrated fields of top-level talent on the late-2026 calendar.

Several recent champions enter the event

The strength of the field becomes clearer when looking at the recent results of its participants.

Spirit, Vitality, MOUZ and Legacy have all collected tournament victories during the season. FURIA, meanwhile, have remained a regular presence deep into international events and arrive as the defending BLAST Rivals Hong Kong champions.

That history creates a tournament where current form may matter more than reputation.

Team Key storyline
FURIA Defending Hong Kong champions
Spirit Major title contender
Vitality Consistent elite-level threat
Legacy Breakthrough season continues
FUT Chance to challenge established teams

The compact format also means that teams will have limited opportunities to recover from poor performances.

BLAST keeps compact eight-team format

BLAST Rivals Season 2 will begin with two double-elimination groups. Matches in the group stage will be played as best-of-three series.

The tournament then moves into a single-elimination playoff bracket, where one defeat ends a team’s run. The Grand Final will use a best-of-five format, providing a longer test for the two teams that survive the field.

That structure makes the group stage particularly important. A strong opening run can create a more favorable route into the playoffs, while early losses immediately increase the pressure.

Unlike larger 16- or 24-team competitions, Rivals concentrates high-ranked teams into a relatively small event. There are fewer lower-ranked opponents available for favorites to build momentum against.

FURIA return as defending champions

FURIA have an additional storyline heading into Hong Kong.

The Brazilian team won the first BLAST Rivals event held in the city in 2025, defeating Falcons 3-1 in the Grand Final. Both organizations will return for the 2026 edition, creating the possibility of another meeting between the two sides.

FURIA’s participation is also notable because of the team’s demanding tournament schedule. Players have recently spoken about the difficulty of maintaining extensive practice routines while moving continuously between international events.

BLAST Rivals adds another major tournament to that calendar.

For Falcons, the event represents another opportunity to convert a roster packed with individual talent into silverware. Spirit and Vitality will face similar expectations, while MOUZ remain another team capable of winning against any opponent in the field.

Legacy and FUT add unpredictability

The presence of Legacy and FUT prevents the tournament from becoming a straightforward contest between the most established organizations.

Legacy have produced several major results during 2026 and demonstrated that they can compete against internationally recognized teams. Their development has moved them well beyond outsider status.

FUT face a different challenge. Entering a tournament featuring several of the world’s strongest teams offers a valuable benchmark for a roster attempting to establish itself consistently at the highest level.

Neither side can be treated as an automatic win, particularly in a short tournament where one strong series can radically change the bracket.

Assessment

BLAST Rivals Season 2 has the ingredients for one of November’s most competitive CS2 events.

The eight-team format removes much of the breathing room found at larger tournaments. Spirit, Vitality, MOUZ, Falcons, FURIA and G2 will arrive with expectations of making deep runs, while Legacy and FUT have enough quality to disrupt those plans.

FURIA’s return as defending champion provides the clearest narrative, especially with Falcons also attending after losing last year’s Hong Kong final.

The confirmed lineup does not guarantee that every team will reach the event in peak form, and roster changes or scheduling pressures could still influence performances before November. What is already clear, however, is that BLAST has assembled a field in which almost every series can realistically affect the title race.
