I vibe coded a bad but improvable game in two days and I only spent 3 hours actively
I'll post a video soon showing how easy it is for someone with no game dev experience to get going. Alone I can only get so far as a parent with a full time job, but if I had 2-3 people helping me + AI…I'm confident I could deliver a AA-AAA experience within a year.
I'm telling you I tried it and it's true…anyone can build a game.
I love Xbox and Microsoft and I have spent 10+ years proving this. My goal is to get this over with so we can move on as a company, despite the fact that some will persecute me for this: we use AI, just as all companies do in 2026.

There's no point in a 5-10 year plan absent AI in 2026. Everything you plan for will be superseded. You're planning for a fake future.
Look if I'm fired tomorrow it will be because I told you the truth that nobody wants you to know. You can make a game with a simple prompt and yes you can make custom, tailored games. Everything you want in a game is right there for the taking, for better or worse.
I'm happy to take the hit if it means hundreds at Xbox can stop pretending that they're not using AI. It's time to accept and move forward.

Thing is if someone doesn't use AI, they will be left behind by the competition, so it makes no sense. I'm not saying to remove the human element, because that's stupid BUT if a human can use AI to work for them, make things faster, and more efficient then it has to be done.
