Publisher PQube and developers Twin Hearts & Secret Level Studios have released a new trailer for Kitaria Fables 2, showcasing the various facilities available in the town of Whitewall. A demo is also now available on the game's Steam page.

Announced earlier this year, Kitaria Fables 2 is an action RPG with farming & crafting, and it acts as a direct sequel to 2021's Kitaria Fables. It features two new characters, Alice Skylar & Dusty Tuftkin, which the player can switch between freely, or play with a friend in local/online co-op.

The new trailer, description, and screenshot can be found below, via PQube. Kitaria Fables 2 is set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam) in Spring 2027.

In this ‘Overview Trailer’ new heroes Alice Skylar and Dusty Tuftkin make their long journey across the Endless Ocean to the settlement of Whitewall Town on the remote Arkadera Peninsula. Their goal? To join up with the Royal Academy Expedition Team on its mission to explore the uncharted lands to the north and rebuild the region’s defences so that it’s citizens may once again live in peace and harmony with nature. Forge powerful weapons and sturdy armour with Maya

Maya is a young and talented blacksmith from the small town of Howl, and you can find her working her forge in Whitewall Town’s main square. Before she’ll lend you her considerable talents you’ll need to source Iron Ore rumoured to be found in the dark caves of the coastal lowlands. Once she has what she needs Maya can craft all sorts of weapons and armour!

Grow nutritious crops and exotic ingredients with Aunt Kiki

Since the events of the first game Kiki has become something of an entrepreneur, managing several farms, and selling her delicious produce all over the empire! She recently purchased a rundown farmstead on the outskirts of Whitewall Town, and needs your help restoring it back to its former glory! Use the fertile soil to grow crops and ingredients, and restore parts of the farm’s dishevelled interior to make a cozy home for Alice and Dusty!

Brew potent concoctions and remedies with Periwinkle

Alice has a natural talent for potion making largely thanks to the Royal Academy’s apothecary Periwinkle who still considers her to be his brightest student. Forage or cultivate rare plants and use Periwinkle’s workstation to synthesise stat-boosting potions and soothing natural remedies!

Expand your recipe book with Chef Louis and Wisteria

Dusty’s uncle Louis and aunt Wisteria are co-owners of Whitewall Town’s popular bakery ‘The Fluffy Bun’ and have done their best to encourage him to follow in their footsteps. Once you have learned a few recipes you can visit the cauldron at the back of their shop to cook up some delicious (and nutritious) treats!

Arriving at the peaceful haven of Whitewall Town, freshly graduated Royal Army Pathfinder Alice and plucky local guide Dusty join up with administrator Fawn and begin their mission to assist the townspeople while charting the wild lands to the north. Explore the bustling streets of the port before putting both heroes’ combat skills to the test in the nearby coastal lowlands as you work to fulfil requests and complete jobs. Get to know the locals and learn the basics of potion-making with apothecary Periwinkle, forge new equipment with blacksmith Maya, and even try your hand at farming with Aunt Kiki!

The Kitaria Fables 2 demo features over 4 hours of content including:

• A prologue tutorial and main story mission to follow.
• 22 side quests and 11 job quests to discover.
• 20 enemies to battle, including tough mini-bosses!
• 4 x active skills, 4 x passive skills, and 1 x character upgrade to unlock for both Alice and Dusty.
