Helldivers 2 is adding a brand-new premium Warbond, Scope of Authority, releasing on October 20, featuring a bolt-action sniper and more.

Players haven’t heard much about Helldivers 2 lately; instead, we have been getting updates about the live-action movie. The latest announcement confirmed that Reacher actor Alan Ritchson will be joining the cast, and the movie has been delayed to 2028. Now we finally have something new about the game: its latest premium Warbond.

Helldivers 2 Scope of Authority Weapons and Stratagems

Arrowhead has focused on the concept of “scope” for the Helldivers 2 Scope of Authority Warbond. The first new weapon introduced is the R-40 Sightliner (primary weapon), a bolt-action sniper rifle. Players also receive the P-44 Mist (secondary weapon), a one-handed machine pistol, and the AMW-20 Apex (stratagem), described as “a more powerful and armor-penetrating, backpack-fed, colossal anti-materiel rifle featuring assisted reload.”

The LAS-44 Nova (stratagem) is a sleek energy rifle that provides players with infinite ammo. It fires a high-precision, non-explosive thermal projectile after a brief charging period. Lastly, there is the G-11 Caltrops, a throwable that releases a wide area of proximity-detonated submunitions, effectively slowing and stunning enemies within the vicinity.

Helldivers 2 Scope of Authority Armors, Passive and More

Starting with Helldivers 2 Scope of Authority Armors, players get the SS-33 Mimetic Marshal light armor, inspired by old-fashioned ghillie suits and best paired with the new Mimetic Mesh Cape and player card. Next is the S-15 Focal Point medium armor, which goes well with the Boundary Banner Cape and player card.

As for passives, both armors give players the Stationary Shroud, which reduces weapon sway and detection range. Lastly, the blog post reveals that players will get the Manual Ballistic Projection emote and a new player title, Longshot.
