Update Information:

Don't Starve Together Update 1.1.220.0 (Xbox - released October 22, 2026)

Hello everybody!

The "Cursed Confrontation Part 2" conclusion to the "From Beyond" story arc is now available on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation.

With this update we also have some new streaming drops and skin chests as well. 

The update will be available on Nintendo Switch a short while after completing the Nintendo certification process. 

Cursed Confrontation Part, 2
Horrors await to crush you, tear you apart, drain you of hope. Should you survive, have you the heart to make the sacrifices demanded of you? To face your darkest trial, you must press on, come what may.

Highlights Include: 

• Continuation of the Shadow arc quest line after taking the Keystone to the Ancient Gateway.
• New early game rare creature spawns such as Hound Batilisk and Rock Master with unique loot.
• New lore interactions when using the Possessed Atrium to reanimate the Odd Skeleton in the caves.
• Improved loading speed travelling between Forest and Caves.

We're also working on a small Hallowed Nights update for next week that will include some small QOL changes as well. Players who followed the beta posts might have gotten a sneak preview of some new creature knockback animations. We're working on adding these into base game very soon, opening up new possibilities for itemization and character abilities in future updates.

Change List:

• Added "From Beyond - Cursed Confrontation Part 2" content.
• A new interaction when giving a Possessed Atrium to the Odd Skeleton in the Caves.
• Rock Lobsters will get nitre build up during acid rain.
• Batilisks have new art for their acid form.
• Greater Depth Worm changes:
• Tuned to do less damage, and only weak knockbacks.
• Stunned when it digests active explosives or certain sleepy foods, while also taking extra damage from the explosion.
• If the worm despawns, then it will come back in the next depth wom wave much sooner with its health saved.
• Reduced Gold Nugget cost for Night Light from 8 to 4.
• Fixed a bug where Brightshade Bombs did not have a damage bonus towards shadow aligned creatures like other Brightshade weapons.
• Fixed a bug where Coals cool down much quicker than intended.
• Fixed a bug where rain sounds would not play in the Lunar Grotto and Ancient Archives.
• Fixed a bug with missing ambience in the Caves.
