CD PROJEKT has unveiled the full Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.5 patch notes, revealing everything coming when the Edgerunners 2 update hits the platform tomorrow, October 22nd. It’s a marvellous thing that shows just how much attention and passion they’re still pouring into this game all these years after launch, and it adds some incredible features.
The update is being released on almost all platforms tomorrow, but Nintendo Switch 2 and Mac users will need to wait another few days. From console mods to new quests, and from fresh outfits to stacks of quality-of-life improvements, Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.5 update has it all.
Here’s the full spread of notes.
Cyberpunk Update 2.5 Lets You ‘Mod the World’
One of the things fans are most excited about from Cyberpunk 2077’s 2.5 patch is the ability to utilize cross-platform mod support, thanks to mod.io. It’s the ‘first step into cross-platform modding that allows you to easily browse and install a selection of player-created mods directly from the in-game menu.’
It arrives in addition to other console improvements, like an FOV slider!
The Edgerunners content especially goes nuts in the 2.5 update. There’s a new side quest, an entirely new radio station, and some gear items to uncover. If you’re in the market for cosmetics, scores of new outfit items have been added to the game with this update too.
Here’s everything else you need to know…
