UFC 6 UFC 333 Fight Week Update Includes New Fighters, Gameplay Adjustments and More

EA Sports UFC 6 recently released its UFC 333 Fight Week update, adding three fighters, five free fighter skins and several gameplay adjustments. The update also brings some changes to the ground game, striking and Flow States, along with a limited-time discount for anyone who hasn’t picked up the game yet.
Gabriel Bonfim and Joselyne Edwards are the two newest additions to the roster, with Bonfim bringing his mix of aggressive striking, takedowns and submissions to the welterweight division. Edwards joins the women’s bantamweight division with a pressure-heavy fighting style that relies on kickboxing, combinations and using her reach to keep opponents at a distance. Benson Henderson is also joining through the UFC 6 Fighter Pass, featuring his appearance from UFC 144 in 2012, when he defeated Frankie Edgar to win the UFC Lightweight Championship.
Players can also grab five free fighter skins inspired by some memorable UFC performances, including Conor McGregor at UFC 205, Jon Jones at UFC 309, Sean O’Malley at UFC 299, Alex Pereira at UFC 320 and Ilia Topuria at UFC 317. The Championship Skin Collection is available to anyone who owns the Standard or Ultimate Edition with each skin available to claim individually through the in-game Fight Store until November 16 at 10 AM PT. New and existing players are eligible, although an online connection is required to access the store.
The developers have made another round of gameplay improvements to the ground game, building on changes from the previous two patches. Fighters can now respond sooner after canceling transitions, while moving out of ground-and-pound positions should feel a little smoother. The adjustments also cover posture breaks, reversals, sweeps and elbows, giving players more control without having to wait as long between certain actions.
Heavy Roundhouse Kicks and Calf Kicks have been sped up by two frames after players mentioned they were too slow to land consistently, although their base damage has been slightly reduced to keep things balanced. The developers say the faster animations should make these kicks more useful overall, even with the small drop in power. The Anvil Flow State has also been toned down with its damage and duration bonuses dropping from 35% to 25% after the team found it was giving players too much of an advantage during combinations. Check out the full patch notes below.
