《REPLACED》将于今年12月登陆 Android

The cyberpunk 2.5D Sidescrolling indie-hit REPLACED is heading to new platforms, but it’s not the one we were probably all expecting. REPLACED heads to Android, this December.

Announced today by Atari and developer Sad Cat Studios, Android users “will soon be able to experience the same cinematic visuals and immersive atmosphere from its original release earlier this year.“

REPLACED will arrive as part of the Google Play Games Program, which means it’s available on mobile, tablets and PC, with a single purchase and saves synced across supported devices. If you’re interested, you can pre-register to check it out by heading here. This version has been ported across to Android by Poland-based studio ‘The Knights of U’, and Android gamers will join the 900,000+ players that have already enjoyed the game on Xbox Series X|S and PC earlier this year.

We’re already big fans of REPLACED here at DayOne, awarding the game a 9 in our review earlier this year. “With weighty platforming and crunchy, satisfying combat, this is a world full of heart and incredible detail presented with an eye-catching art style. It’s backed up by a punchy soundtrack that elevates every pixel on display. REPLACED oozes style and imagination, and it’s almost everything I wanted it to be.“

It is some surprise to see a PlayStation announcement not arrive before this one, but for now, Android gamers have got a great game to look forward too!
