Steam: Mixed · 67% (186) · 1,606 playing now

We Were Here Tomorrow went on sale on Steam on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, and by Wednesday morning its user reviews sat in the “Mixed” band. Total Mayhem Games developed the game and publishes it as well. It is available on Windows and carries the genres Action, Adventure, Casual and Indie.

124 recommendations, 62 against

As of 10:30 UTC on Oct. 21, the game had collected 186 user reviews. Of those, 124 recommend it and 62 do not, an approval share of 67%. That figure places it under Steam’s “Mixed” label rather than any of the positive tiers.

Put another way, roughly one reviewer in three advised against a purchase. All 186 reviews were posted within about a day of release.

1,606 players on day two

At the same check, 1,606 people were playing We Were Here Tomorrow. It is not in Steam’s weekly top 100 most-played chart.

The top of that chart shows how high the ceiling sits. Counter-Strike 2, at No. 1, hit a daily peak of 1,205,009 players. Dota 2 followed at No. 2 with 907,099, while Deadlock, at No. 5, peaked at 200,271. Those are daily highs, not a single moment, so they set the scale rather than serve as a head-to-head comparison.
