AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 将登陆 Xbox 主机

AMD has announced that FSR Upscaling 4.1 support is coming to Xbox consoles. Furthermore, Project Helix will support FSR Diamond.

In a blog post, AMD states the following “AMD FSR Upscaling 4.1 is coming to XBOX. Built in close collaboration with the XBOX team, FSR 4.1 gives developers a powerful new tool to deliver better performance and visual quality for gamers, starting on XBOX Ally handheld and coming soon to XBOX Series S and X consoles. This milestone builds on more than two decades of collaboration with XBOX, and we’re just getting started: Project Helix, will leverage AMD FSR ‘Diamond’ to push next generation gaming even further.”

Scott Van Vliet, Chief Technology Officer at XBOX, stated the following about the collaboration: “At XBOX, we’re building a gaming platform designed to meet players where they are and make it easier for creators to reach them. AMD has been an important partner in that journey for more than two decades. Together, our teams have been pushing gaming forward across XBOX and Windows, from the silicon at the heart of our consoles and handhelds, to technologies like DirectX, Advanced Shader Delivery, and AutoSR that helps developers get more from the hardware and deliver better experiences for our players…”

Neither AMD or Xbox has revealed when the support will release. However, it will likely work with some of Xbox’s biggest games of late, such as Gears of War: E-Day. Recently, Xbox announced a restructuring of its internal gaming divisions. Activision now leads the Halo franchise, as well as Rare and World’s End. Bethesda now oversees Obsidian, while Playground and Turn 10 have merged. While Undead Labs is now an indie studio, the future of Ninja Theory and Arkane is still in doubt.
