NVIDIA released its latest Game Ready drivers that add Microsoft Advanced Shader Delivery support while Cyberpunk 2077 gets a major DLSS upgrade.

NVIDIA Rolls Out Feature-Rich Game Ready Driver For RTX GPUs, Enabling 2nd Gen DLSS & Advanced Shader Delivery Support Across Multiple Games

First up, we have Cyberpunk 2077, which is getting a new 2.5 update on 22nd October. With this update, the game will receive support for  DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, and is also going to upgrade its already-supported Multi Frame Generation, Ray Reconstruction, and Super Resolution integrations to second-generation AI models.

Game Ready for Phantom Blade Zero & Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 (GRD 621.01)
This new Game Ready Driver provides the best gaming experience for the latest games and updates supporting DLSS and RTX technologies, including Phantom Blade Zero, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, NBA 2K27, Cyberpunk 2077, and Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown.

Fixed Gaming Bugs

  • Wuthering Waves: May crash during gameplay when using NVIDIA Freestyle filters with DLSS Frame Generation enabled. [5747079]
  • Star Citizen: Resolves a crash that may be seen when using Vulkan API [6680590]
  • Surviving Mars: Relaunch may crash during gameplay after updating to R595 drivers [5965452]

Fixed General Bugs

  • QHD monitor running at 360 Hz may have occasional black flash during gameplay [4846825]
  • When gaming on a 360Hz G-SYNC Pulsar monitor, FPS may drop to 320FPS [6408986]
  • Meta Horizon Link stream may freeze when connected over USB [6292679]
  • Intermittent dimming may be observed on certain Asus notebooks after updating to R620 drivers [6807011]

The second major update comes in the form of two new titles that will get Microsoft's Advanced Shader Delivery support. These include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Gears of War: E-Day.

With Advanced Shader Delivery, both games will allow players to skip lengthy shader compilation processes and jump right into action. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in particular will feature the new DLSS Frame Generation model across RTX 50 and RTX 40 GPUs.

  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4: War erupts on the Korean Peninsula as North Korea launches a full-scale invasion that threatens to destabilize the world in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. In the campaign, a young squad of South Korean soldiers fights to survive on the collapsing front lines, while half a world away, a vengeful Captain Price wages a personal war from the shadows as he stays one step ahead of those hunting him. Early Access began on Oct. 16, and DMZ Early Access on Oct. 18. Then, the game launches globally on Oct. 23 with multiplayer. In all modes, DLSS Super Resolution will accelerate gameplay and enhance image quality. On GeForce RTX 40 Series systems, DLSS Frame Generation will further boost frame rates. And on GeForce RTX 50 Series systems, players can activate DLSS Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, with up to 6X multiplication. Additionally, NVIDIA Reflex can be enabled on all GeForce RTX systems, further reducing PC latency. Also, our new GeForce Game Ready Driver adds Advanced Shader Delivery support, which downloads precompiled shaders matched to each player's hardware and driver configuration, eliminating initial shader compilation waits and reducing in-game stuttering.
  • Phantom Blade Zero:  In S-GAME’s Phantom Blade Zero, gamers play as Soul, a swordsman framed for murdering his master. Gravely wounded in the heart and left with just sixty-six days to live, he roams the Wulin alone and hunted, determined to unravel a conspiracy that has ensnared the martial world. Launching Oct. 28 for GeForce RTX and RTX Spark devices, Phantom Blade Zero is accelerated by DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, and its PC-exclusive path-traced lighting and effects are further refined and enhanced by DLSS Ray Reconstruction.
  • Cyberpunk 2077: CD PROJEKT RED’s action-RPG is receiving a new update on October 22nd. For GeForce RTX and Spark RTX gamers, Cyberpunk 2077’s entire DLSS suite of technologies is being updated to DLSS 4.5, and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation is being added, further optimizing your experience.
  • NBA 2K27: DLSS 5 debuted in NBA 2K27 last month, enhancing texture detail, skin subsurface scattering, contact shadowing, hair rendering, and more, bringing the likenesses of players even closer to reality. Last week, NBA 2K27’s Season 2 update introduced a new, more performant DLSS 5 AI model that increases frame rates by up to 1.4X on GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, RTX Spark laptops, and GeForce NOW. The model is now 10X faster overall than the version demonstrated in March.
  • Planet Zoo 2: In the anticipated sequel to Frontier Developments’ zoo simulation game, players can let their creativity soar by constructing and managing distinctive zoos around the world, full of awe-inspiring animals, including fully aquatic and flying species for the first time. Planet Zoo 2 recently launched, and an update shortly thereafter added a suite of DLSS 4.5 technologies, including Dynamic Multi Frame Generation and Super Resolution, giving players the performance headroom to enable the game’s ray-traced reflection, shadow, and global illumination lighting settings that heighten immersion and detail of your zoo and animals.
  • THE FINALS PRIME TIME: The biggest annual update to THE FINALS has arrived. With a GeForce RTX GPU or RTX Spark, RTXGI can leverage hardware-accelerated ray tracing to produce richer and more realistic global illumination effects. THE FINAL has featured support for DLSS Super Resolution, Frame Generation, and NVIDIA Reflex since release, with a later update adding support for DLSS Multi Frame Generation. Via the NVIDIA app, these DLSS integrations can be upgraded to our latest AI models, further enhancing image quality and accelerating performance, and enabling the use of DLSS 4.5 Dynamic Multi Frame Generation.

In short, this new Game Ready Driver is a solid win for RTX owners. Cyberpunk 2077’s upcoming DLSS 4.5 refresh and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, alongside smoother launches for titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Phantom Blade Zero thanks to Advanced Shader Delivery, mean better visuals, higher frame rates, and far less time spent waiting on shaders.

With a handful of welcome bug fixes included, the update simply makes day-to-day gaming feel cleaner and more polished across a wide range of current releases.
